CAITLIN CLARK MOMENTS

FROM THE FANS

"I watched CC play against the Minnesota Lynx in Minnesota! It was the best time of my life and Phee was hurt and not playing. I loved that CC fans took over the Target center like Iowa previously did when CC was in college! I went to that big 10 championship too. I had fun."

"I am an Iowa alumni (‘90) and love following Hawkeye sports. During last year’s college season I was able to see Iowa women’s basketball play at WI, and home against Illinois. I live in the western suburbs of Chicago and did day roadtrips to Madison and Iowa City for those games. My husband and I bought season tickets for Northwestern women’s basketball so we could see Iowa play at Northwestern.

I feel so fortunate I was able to see Caitlin and her teammates play last year. We went to a Chicago Sky game to see the Fever play. We also went to Indy to see the Fever play in the game they won in overtime on September 8th. We started following the Fever because of Caitlin but then fell in love with the whole team."

“Never in my 30 years have I ever been passionate or even remotely interested in any sport. Caitlin Clark has opened that door for me with her brilliant playmaking, her logo 3’s, her poise and maturity, and the lovely human being that she is. I’ve immensely enjoyed getting to know Iowa and Indiana Fever fans and learning to love the game that she does. This year I fell in love with basketball and in cheering for the Indiana Fever, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I came to the WNBA to witness greatness in a 22 year old, and I can’t wait to continue to cheer her on for many years to come."

"My CC story is my friend and I got to go to Target Center to see her play in the Big10 tournament. It was exciting! It all ended when we lost my car in the parking ramp and 2 hours after the game ended, we are riding the ramp in a police car. Let me say the back seat was tiny and hard plastic. But I would do it all again to see her in person. Did I mention my friend and I are in our 70's?"

My first time was when she played at Nebraska and was close to getting the all time scoring record. Once I started following Caitlin her freshman year and on I became a huge fan of her due to her looking like me, being the same age, and being a shooter like me. And as silly as that sounds I was just excited to see someone who looked and played like me excel in this world.

Watching that game was the most amazing experience I had witnessed in my entire life. The magic, aura, mood, etc. was something that has not been replicated to me yet. That fourth quarter was something else. Even though they lost, and she didn’t get the record, I will never forget that moment. Ever since that day I’ve followed very closely to all her games and all her stats and have never missed a Caitlin Clark game.

My second game was a couple weeks ago when I went to my first WNBA game ever. It was my 23rd bday and all I wanted to do for it was go see her live again. My parents paid for my tickets and I drove 6 1/2 hours to go see Caitlin. It truly was one of the coolest experiences ever. The game was fun, it went to OT, and the atmosphere was something else. All of this to say, Caitlin has given me a really, really close bond between my dad and I who never miss a game together, and an appreciation to the person she is.

She has been my role model and I can’t wait to keep following her."

"I was lucky enough to find a couple pretty good seats, and my sister and I went to the July 14 game in Minneapolis. We arrived early to grab some lunch, and the entire area around the Target Center, every bar or restaurant we walked by, the amount of people wearing 22s was just mind blowing! Then walking into the venue just surrounded by a sea of Iowa and Fever gear (easily 80% of people there were wearing something affiliated with Iowa/Fever, and I’d say at least 70% were wearing 22s), there was such a buzz of anticipation in the air.

Everyone just could not wait to see Caitlin with their own eyes and you could tangibly feel the excitement. We got to our seats and honestly when I saw her for the first time it was an emotional moment!! Truly felt like I was witnessing history just catching a glimpse of her. I can’t even describe it. It was not her best game scoring-wise, but she controlled the court regardless. You really couldn’t take your eyes off her. The roar whenever she made a bucket was wild, you’d think it was a home game. I guess it kind of was, she was playing in Carver North (wink). She turned it up in the 4th, and in the last seconds she was fouled a couple times and was sent to the line. Once the win was clinched, she was holding the ball walking to a timeout and the crowd was already going wild. I’ll never forget this moment: she had the ball tucked under her left arm, she was clapping, she swung out her right arm and raised it a little towards the crowd and the whole building just erupted. One small motion from her controlled almost 19,000 people. I can’t even explain what that atmosphere felt like. It was an incredible thing to experience. She’s special. For so many reasons beyond basketball.

I first saw her play when randomly flipping through channels I landed on the Iowa/South Carolina game in the 2023 NCAA playoffs. I’ve been following her journey ever since, and she has given me something to look forward to during a rough couple years of my life. All that to say, thanks Caitlin."

"Thank you for being a driving force on and off the court. Your hard work is appreciated and the way you are showing young people how to navigate life without social media is remarkable. Thank you for bringing joy to your fans just by being a young woman who loves basketball."

"I knew it would be fun to watch Caitlin since I was a fan of women’s college ball when I rooted against her (go Terps!). What was exciting for me was getting to watch the entire Fever team get better as they integrated her and adapted to her style of play. I’ve grown to love and be impressed with the entire roster."

My dad’s first Fever game. My dad and I are both Iowa alumni. Caitlin Clark has given my family the absolute BEST memories together watching her play. Growing up, my dad coached all three of his girls in basketball. Some of my favorite memories from my childhood were watching Iowa sports with him. Full circle moment being able to watch women’s basketball and cheer on our favorite Hawkeye together.”

I'm a 55 years old woman, with 3 adult age children and I was never into basketball, men or women. All of a sudden I see on my X feed a young Caitlin Clark doing something in basketball and hearing she was the #1 draft pick for the WNBA. It wasn't until mid July when I saw clips of her playing in Iowa on YouTube. I was in awe of how easy she made those shots, but I also enjoyed watching her pass that ball. I think I enjoy that the most. It was nothing I have ever experienced watching. So, I subscribed for the first time ever to WNBA so I could watch all the Fever games because I do not have cable or an antenna to get regular TV. Now, here I am watching YouTube channels that break down the game and this 55 year old teacher can talk to her kids and students about "Pick and Roll."

"My mom, my mom’s boyfriend, and I got to go see CC play in person for the first time this season. We’ve been following her and fans of her since earlier this year. We noticed what she was doing at Iowa and fell in love with watching her play and her game. We drove from Chicago to Indy to see them play the Atlanta Dream. Seeing her play in person was such a fun experience. The atmosphere was amazing! Everyone got excited whenever CC would score or pass a dime to Aliyah. The Fever ended up winning that game. We can’t wait to see what records she’ll break in the future!"

"I’ve watched Caitlin Clark play a million times on tv. But I gave myself and my son the experience not only to see Indianapolis but to go Caitlin Clark play in person. We had the pleasure and greatest experience of seeing Gainbridge Fieldhouse, but also getting to see Caitlin Clark play live was one of the best experiences of our lifetime. We got to see records made and her tremendous ability on the court live.

Hoping we can catch her play in NY next season but definitely going back to Indianapolis to see her and the WNBA All Star game."

"I was an MJ fan back in the 90s. He was a dynamic player and what he did for the game of basketball was mesmerizing. I watched every single game or recorded it on VCR lol. I was in the gym practicing all the time and I loved basketball. When he retired, so did my love of basketball. You brought that love back CC. What you do for women’s basketball is something special. Your passion, love, and skill for the game is extraordinary and I am so grateful I get to watch it and experience both the MJ moment in the 90’s and the CC moment today. Thank you for not only bringing the love to young fans but even us old ones too!"

"Caitlin, you are a truly amazing person and an extremely professional athlete with excellent and exceptional skill and excitement. Thank you for just being you and playing basketball that makes us want to tune in. You made me want to learn about basketball. A sport I never watched or had any interest in. I followed you from your 3rd year in College after stumbling upon a clip of you on YouTube, I have been intrigued since. I followed you to the W and it's been a blast. My daughter (13) loves your sportsmanship and your hard work and dedication to your sport. You inspire her on so many levels. Thank you, Caitlin."

"Caitlin Clark opened up a world I never thought was possible. In my 20 years of watching sports never in the slightest did I ever have any urge to watch the WNBA until this year. There are no words to explain her game it’s just transcendent and gets ice running through your veins when she’s makes an incredible play. The 3 she had against the Suns from the logo where EW passed it to her solidified my viewership."

"In mid-June I noticed videos of Caitlin online and her style of playing just sucked me in. I immediately bought annual League Pass and since then watched every single game of Caitlin and Indiana Fever. I always loved basketball, but I've never watched sports regularly before Caitlin Clark. I even started to play some now. Here in Slovenia I had to get up in the middle of the night to watch games and it was so worth it. I am grateful for Fever/CCFC on platforms, so I can chat with other fans. For the future I wish more people in my area would get to now Caitlin and Indiana Fever, so we could enjoy watching games together. I really wish to go to Indy some day! Caitlin is really incredible as a player and a person. I love watching her and all Fever girls."

"Started watching Caitlin in her sophomore year at Iowa. I am originally from Iowa, and my 83-year-old father still lives there. He's a big Hawkeye fan, and Caitlin's games at Iowa gave us something in common to talk about on our frequent phone calls. Caitlin's move to the WNBA gave my dad more excitement to watch, and I made sure to keep him up to date on the Fever game days, times and channels. Thank you, Caitlin, for your incredible basketball talent and for being an amazing human that has enriched a long distance relationship between a daughter and her dad."

"I was watching Fever versus Sun Game 2 on my phone at the dinner table with my girlfriend. Caitlin nailed a 3 to take the lead with 4 minutes left. I jumped up from the table and said “OMG!” And my gf jumped up too…worried that something catastrophic happened, she said “what happened?!”

I said “Caitlin hit a 3 pointer!” She said “Damn it Marc! You scared me!” as I walked to the living room to put the game on the TV. Thanks for the entertainment Caitlin!"

"I started following Caitlin Clark as she was finishing out her junior year of college. Everyone game I watched. Then I finally scored tickets to Iowa vs OSU at Ohio state. It was a noon game and I had worked late the night before and I overslept my alarms and woke up about 30 minutes til tip off with it being an hour and a half drive. I thought to myself I would never get the chance to see Caitlin Clark play ball in person ever again. She soon then got drafted to the Indiana Fever--which was a 3 hour car ride. Finally got my chance came to see her play. Not once but 5 times. I purchased floor tickets all on my own and got Caitlin’s autograph! I called my mom right after shaking in excitement. The Indiana vs. Dallas Wings was the final game I went to of the regular season and was the first time I brought friends with me! They all enjoyed it and said they will return next season. I even got my parents in on CC!! To sum this up, thank you for helping me fall in love with the game of basketball all over again. Your touch, your class, and your game will NEVER go unnoticed."

"After moving out west following graduation in 1993, my wife and I had not been able to find time to get back to Iowa City. But we realized we could not miss out on seeing THAT Hawkeye team in person, so we made the 850 mile drive to Iowa City in November…and then did it again in March. In a long life of watching and loving sports, nothing has or will ever top being inside Carver for those final two home games during the NCAA Tournament. In a very personal way, it means something to be able to say “we were there.”

"My mom finally fell in love watching women’s college basketball with me this last year. She was amazed with CC!! So much so that our lives revolved around Fever basketball since then. From draft night to playoff game 2. The best part was driving 8.5hrs each way from MT to Seattle to watch the Fever play the Storm in June! This was my mom’s first WNBA game and she loved it. We were amazed the FEVER turnout in Seattle!!!

"I am a fan from Iowa and started watching CC during the 2023 March Madness tournament. I have never been big into any sports, and especially not women’s basketball. But since I started watching CC & that Iowa team, I haven’t missed watching a game of hers and have really started to become a fan of sports in general. I went to a few games her senior year at Iowa, including the Michigan record breaking game! And went to see her with the Fever in Minneapolis in August. I’m grateful to her for helping me enjoy sports, and now it’s one of my favorite things to do with my husband! Much love to you, CC!"

"I was at the game on August 18th with my family for my birthday when Caitlin broke the rookie assist record. She also broke the franchise record for 3PM, held by Catchings, that game as well. We were in the nosebleeds, but had so much fun. It was my first ever Fever game. The atmosphere was awesome. As an aside from that day, we also saw Tamika Catchings when we were out for lunch prior to the game, which was really neat."

"I didn’t get the chance to see Caitlin play in person in her WNBA rookie season, unfortunately. But my dad and I travelled to Iowa’s Final Four games in her junior and senior college seasons. My family and I have always been Iowa MBB fans.

We didn’t really tune into WBB until Caitlin’s arrival at U of I.

These games were such a fun bonding experience for us! We are a couple of the thousands (millions?!) who’ve followed her into the WNBA.

We live a few hours apart from each other but text & call each other with Fever game analysis and to share our amazement over CC’s unreal achievements. It’s not an exaggeration to say that watching Caitlin—along with her teammates—has brought me and my family so much joy."

"I have loved basketball for a long time. Once I started playing and watching the NBA, it captivated me. But admittedly, I could never get into the WNBA or women's hoops. Then about a year ago I decided to check out what the hype was about this player, Caitlin Clark, I kept hearing about. I tuned in to the final two games of her college career and was so entertained that I decided to try and follow her to the WNBA and see if she could carry over her dominance to the big league. I'll never forget telling my wife that I was going to put the Fever game on tv (who's that? She asked) because I wanted to see Caitlin in her first game. Even during the early season struggles the Fever and CC had, we tuned in. We watched every Fever game this season, along with a bunch of non-Fever games, all because of what Caitlin brings to the table. I now own 2 of her Fever jerseys and I'll be getting my wife her own soon. We plan to go watch them play the Valkyries here in the bay area when the come to town. All of these things would have seemed so unimaginable just a few years ago, but here we are. Thank you, CC and we look forward to watching the remainder of your career. #FeverRising"

"I heard about Caitlin while she was still in college and my wife and I started watching and we were instantly hooked. We followed her into the W and found this new passion for basketball that we both had growing up. It became a ritual to watch Caitlin and the Fever, even watching on our phones when we weren’t at home. We saw Caitlin when she came to AZ and we have never had so much fun as we did that day at the game. All the fans we met were kind and we saw so many Fever shirts and young girls wearing Caitlin jerseys. It was so much fun to see. We had gone to a mercury game earlier in the season when they played the aces and got to meet Kate Martin. The crowd was half the size of the Fever game, but we still were so happy to see that the majority of young girls were there to see Kate.

At the fever game, it was so cool to see Taurasi and Griner hug Caitlin and treat her well. The energy was absolutely electric and my wife and I just kept smiling at each other because it was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. The crowd was the loudest we had ever heard and we saw nothing but love for Caitlin every where we looked. It was a wonderful experience that my wife and I still talk about."

"I wish I could remember when I first heard about this girl playing for Iowa that was making these crazy passes, shooting threes, etc. I’d never watched a woman’s college basketball game before, but I started walking mid-way through Caitlin’s senior year. I got to know all their players her Junior and Senior year and cheered for them to win it all. It didn’t matter that they didn’t. They were just so fun to watch. Then I started to admire her for how she handled herself. Beyond the play, as a young woman she was someone whom we could all admire her due to her strength of character.

I watched every game her rookie year and became so proud as she built relationships with Aaliyah, Kelsey and the others as they started to come together and find success. I got way too emotional when she got fouled or people talked smack about her, and I pulled my hubby into it. Now we both scream from our recliners in Idaho. I’ve bought cards and merch and am making plans to figure out how to get to a game in person and get it signed. I’m sure that stories like mine are pretty routine for Caitlin to hear, but I just want her to know that we are so in awe of how she’s handling herself, how she’s giving my future granddaughter’s a role model that is better than anyone I could have come up in my imagination.

The pressure on Caitlin is beyond crazy. She’s shouldering the hopes and dreams of so many people, but I hope that she knows how many of us are in her corner cheering her on and more than anything just want her to be happy. I wish I could give her a hug and say thank you."

"I had the pleasure of watching Caitlin her entire career at Iowa. It amazed me every time I saw her play live as her passing was more impressive than on TV. I absolutely splurged to go to the Michigan game this year and see her break the scoring record and it was an absolutely amazing experience and environment. I met people that traveled from a long ways away to actually be there and see the moment I’ve not seen that before with many other players. As a girl who grew up in Iowa and loves to Iowa athletes I’m thrilled that we finally have a homegrown Iowa woman being successful in a professional sport. True legend in the making."

"I grew up in a family that loved watching and playing basketball, but wasn’t much of a sports fan as an adult. My brother turned me on to Caitlin during her junior year and I fell in love with her and the entire Iowa team. So fun to watch! Followed her and her rookie class to the W. I immediately fell in love with the entire Fever team. Also so fun to watch! They are great players with great personalities. I’m one of those new fans Caitlin often speaks about and tries to elevate: I got the league pass and watched as many games as I could. I have other teams and players that I enjoy watching and supporting. And it’s all because of her. I wasn’t able to attend a W game in person but my family and I will be going to at least one next season. There were so many fun and exciting moments this season. I can’t name just one. I just want to join the chorus of fans saying thank you to Caitlin (and her amazing team) for bringing so much excitement and joy to so many of us this season. Get some rest, Caitlin. You deserve it. See you next year. Go Fever!"

"My first basketball game was the Fever against the Mercury, and I brought my dad along—who had never been to a WNBA game, and definitely had no interest in it prior to CC. My dad sat to my right, and next to him was an elderly woman and I noticed she had Hawkeye earrings in, and a Fever t-shirt. Throughout the game she was very excited and vocal, and my dad and I had talked to her some, and she told us that she was in Arizona coming from Iowa just for the game! It felt like fate that the All Star game happened to be in my state this year, and I brought my brother and best friend, both who have never had ANY interest in the WNBA, let alone women’s sports. We all had a great time, and it was incredible to be able to see her in person and support her. Let me tell you, my wallet is in tears with all the tickets and merchandise I’ve purchased, but it’s been so worth it being able to watch and support her legacy, and it’s still only the beginning. She and the Indiana Fever have made a forever fan of me, and the withdrawals are already hitting hard."

"I’ve watched Caitlin play three times in person, once at Iowa and two with the Fever. I’m 54 and have watched basketball my whole life. I have never enjoyed watching someone as much as her.

In August, I met her mother, grandparents and aunt at the Indianapolis airport. They were all so nice, especially her mother.

It is easy to see where she gets her character from. Caitlin is the most humble superstar I’ve ever seen and I am so happy that I get to see her play basketball!"

"I’m a first-year Fever fan—my “rookie” season, if you will. I didn’t miss watching a single game all season (even when I was in Paris seeing the Eras Tour!) I flew from Florida to Indy for my first WNBA game, the Fever vs. Liberty, where I got to not only witness a win against the #1 team in the league BUT witnessed Caitlin’s historic Rookie Triple-Double in her 22nd game. If this is just the beginning of her rise—the future of the Fever, the league, and women’s sports knows no ceiling!"

"I was a huge Pistons fan in my teens but lost interest in bball over time. Started watching WNBA casually towards the end of last year for the Aces (I’m from Vegas). Heard chatter about cc but didn’t pay attention. When she broke the men’s record I got curious and tuned in. Even though I’m an Aces fan and attended a lot of Aces games this year, my appreciation and excitement for cc grew as the weeks went on.

Someone I went to high school with in ATL 30 years ago noticed I was posting about going to games and we reconnected. She was on the same trajectory as me with the cc appreciation, but she had also been going to Dream games and had really started loving ATL. We started talking daily about all the players, watching almost every game together and texting each other during them, getting to know all the players and picking our faves. (We literally have faves from every team now!)

After the Olympic break, I desperately wanted to see cc play on her home court her rookie year, even though I saw her multiple times in Vegas and in Phoenix for the all star game.

I surprised my friend with a trip to Indy. Her and her wife came up from ATL and I came from Vegas, and the entire experience was awesome. They played Atlanta that night and won a tight game in overtime. The fans around us were awesome, they were saying the same things we were. It was such an experience to feel the energy and electricity in Gainbridge. (I love my Aces, but that was definitely a more electric atmosphere!) I also caught up with a friend I worked with 20 years ago at the game, and she was also on the same “new WNBA fan” trajectory as us.

We all went out afterwards and shared our favorite moments of the season, and talked about all the players that we love from all the teams. All of us are huge football fans, and now we are so excited to have a new sport to watch.

At this point, I have multiple group chats going about the W with people from all over the US. I’m connected on Twitter to a pocket of cc fans from other countries. I did laundry the other day and realized I have just as many WNBA shirts as I have Michigan football shirts and that’s something I’ve been fanatic about my entire life. It’s truly wild how the W has grabbed my attention like this!

I’m so glad that cc broke that record and I started tuning in, because I’m kicking myself for having missed out on the WNBA for so long. But I’m here to stay!!!"

"Her composure, humility and professionalism. I’m from Houston, TX and my family of 5 went to go see her play in Dallas vs. the Wings. My 15 and 9 year old daughter fell in love with her and they don’t watch basketball unless forced lol. Caitlin, if you’re reading this, just want to you to know - always keep being you, even from afar I can tell you are an amazing person and that speaks volumes on why you have a large fan base (aside from your amazing basketball IQ and skills). The Cooper household are HUGE fans! Congrats on an amazing start to your first year in the W, we are looking forward to the rest of your career."

"I was at the Dallas Wings vs Indiana Fever game that Caitlin broke the single game assist record in. The game was incredibly fun to watch and Caitlin’s passes and skills were exhilarating. Not only was the basketball exciting, but the environment was amazing. In the line to enter, I met a nice couple that had drove all the way from the valley (basically the border of Texas and Mexico) to watch Caitlin play. When I got to my seat, there was an adorable girl, maybe 5 years old, sitting next to her dad to the left of me. Next to my friend on the right, there was another young girl with her dad. Behind me was a family of 5 (parents and 3 young kids) all wearing Caitlin Clark jerseys. The young girl next to me was beyond excited every time Caitlin scored. As the game got closer towards the end, I overheard her saying “I need Caitlin to win. Please win, Caitlin”. Overall, everyone I met in the audience was super wholesome and the game was thrilling. When Caitlin's light shines, it shines on everyone. Can’t wait to go back and experience it again."

"I'm from India and we are not a country of basketball. You'd be hard pressed to even find a basketball court here. I always loved watching Steph, but was still not a hardcore basketball fan. I came across CC highlights while watching Steph's one day and fell in love with the energy and the heart that she played with. I was going through a rough time, but watching her made everything a little more bearable (even though my blood pressure was probably through the roof during season), and helped me get up everyday, get healthier, and focus on positives. I'll always be a fan and I am so grateful I came across her game."

"I'm an international fan from Singapore, and I deliberately wake up early every morning just to watch Caitlin's games live (when it’s 7 pm for you all, it’s 7 am for me). I've never really followed the WNBA before, even though I play sports myself. Where I’m from, sports have mostly revolved around men, and as a girl, I’ve often felt overshadowed. But Caitlin changed that narrative for me. She is revolutionary. Caitlin has shattered so many stereotypes in women's sports, whether through her incredible passing, her deep logo threes, or the magic she brings to every play. She inspires me, as someone close to her age who also loves sports, to keep pursuing my passion. I can’t wait to see all that she will achieve in the future, not just for herself, but for the generations to come."

"I bought tickets in the middle of the day on a whim to go to the game where Caitlin broke Kelsey Plum’s NCAA scoring record. I sat down in the front row during warmups just to get closer for a while, and I ended up getting lucky enough to stay there. I remember when she made the shot to break the record, everyone got quiet as it went up, and then the place just went absolutely WILD. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. Seeing the celebration after the game with her teammates and coaches and videos from everyone celebrating her was just amazing. Will forever be a favorite memory."

"As a lifelong Hoosier who had been to several Fever games throughout childhood, I have loved getting to see the excitement around the Fever being reignited. it has been so amazing to witness Caitlin’s historic rookie season! There have been countless memories in Gainbridge this season. From the cheers at the draft party seeing Caitlin get drafted, to the roar of the crowd when Caitlin secured her second triple double, to when she broke the assist record, I have never felt so in awe at both the amazing fans and Caitlin’s greatness! We are so grateful to have her in Indy and I can’t wait to watch her and the Fever grow and succeed for years to come!"

"Sports are something we watch because they give us a chance to get away from life but also teach us so many lessons about life in the process. Every now and then an athlete comes along that inspires us and shows us who we want to be more like in our own lives: practice hard, be disciplined, be a good teammate, dare to imagine you can accomplish what you previously hadn’t even considered, something that’s never been done before. Watching Caitlin play has reminded some of us what it feels like be inspired to strive for those things, and we need that reminder periodically. We need to be inspired to greatness."

"I started getting serious watching Caitlin 3 years ago. My husband and I lived in Nebraska and he had just passed away and left instructions for me to "go to a game live". My son lives in Iowa City and so I drove 5.5 hrs. to a few games her sophomore year (TV'd the rest) and got season tickets her junior year. Driving from Nebraska to watch the team (so fun) with Caitlin leading the way. Went to Big 10 tourney & to Dallas for the Final 4. I moved to West Des Moines last year and attended almost every home game witnessing ALL of Caitlin's records and achievements at Carver. What a team and coaching staff!

Caitlin's maturity blows me away. Her poise in interviews, presence on & off the court, her generosity & love for game shines brightly. Wise beyond years! Truly, investing my time following her basketball journey helped me get through a very difficult time. Still on the Caitlin bus with the Fever and still have IWBB season tix. And, lots of new Hawkeye friends! Thanks CC#22"

"My sister and I were at the Sweet 16 in Albany and we both agreed it was one of the best times ever! We are ride or die Iowa WBB fans and now Fever fans. Got to see them play 3 times in CT and although it wasn't the outcome we wanted, the atmosphere was electric! Caitlin's light shines on every WBB player and has elevated the game to new heights!"

"We have been watching CC since she played at Dowling. Biggest news ever was when she made Team USA! Didn’t think we would get her at Iowa, but she decided to stay and what joy she brought to the state and all around the country. We live in Ankeny, so we were lucky to see her play in Minnesota in July and August. It was truly Hawkeye North with so many Hawkeye and #22 shirts. Best part was seeing Maya Moore retiring and seeing CC in the stands watching her idol! Caitlin you have brought smiles to millions of people and be proud of who you are and what you do!"

"I thought I had lost my love for basketball when I graduated college in 2017 after managing the boys and men’s teams throughout high school and college. I only really started following Caitlin during the NCAA tournament in 2024, and my love for her started, and brought back my love for the game. I live in Connecticut and on the morning of the game vs the Sun she would make her WNBA debut in, I was able to buy a ticket and when I tell you that game changed my love for the game, it was really something special. After that I subscribed to League Pass and couldn’t get enough of all the WNBA games, regardless of who was playing. I was able to attend the other regular season Fever at Sun game and Game 2 of the WNBA playoffs Fever at Sun. I am lucky enough to say I am one of few who saw Caitlin’s First and Last game of her rookie season, and what a season it was. I can’t wait to watch her grow even more and I look forward to making the trip out to Indy next summer to get to experience a home Fever game. The next 15+ years are going to be fun watching CC kill it on the court!! #feverrising"
