After a prolific rookie year, Caitlin Clark is back for year two, playing for the Indiana Fever under Head Coach Stephanie White.

Caitlin Clark has taken the WNBA by storm. After her prolific college career at the University of Iowa where she broke Pistol Pete’s NCAA Division I scoring record, Clark was first pick by the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Since then, Clark has broken numerous rookie records, franchise records and WNBA records. We’ll track what records she breaks (WNBA or her own) as the 2025 season gets underway.

Fever defeat Connecticut Sun 88-71
The Indiana Fever (6-5) advanced to the Commissioner’s Cup Final, which will be played on July 1 at the Minnesota Lynx, with an 88-71 win over the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night.

Caitlin Clark Makes Her Return Since Quad Injury
Caitlin returns for her first game after suffering a thigh injury on May 24. She sat out for 5 games, but made her return tonight against the undefeated New York Liberty, who were sitting at 9-0.

Clark had 32 points, including five 3-pointers and a career-high 25 points in the first half. At one point, she hit three consecutive 3-pointers to score nine points in 33 seconds. Clark also finished with 9 assists, 8 rebounds and 7 turnovers.

Indiana Fever Lose to New York Liberty 90-88
The Indiana Fever (2-2) suffered a 90-88 loss to the defending WNBA Champions, the New York Liberty, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.

She sustained a left quad strain injury that wasn't announced until a day or two later

Rematch of Indiana Fever vs. Atlanta Dream
The Fever squeaked out a W against the Atlanta Dream, this time in Atlanta.

It was Caitlin's first professional game of her career where she didn't hit a three point FG. She ended the night with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 turnovers.

Indiana Fever vs. Atlanta Dream
The Atlanta Dream edge the Indiana Fever to hand them their first loss of the regular season. Rhyne Howard made a go-ahead free throw with 9.1 seconds left, and the Atlanta Dream withstood a thrilling fourth-quarter rally led by Caitlin Clark to beat the Indiana Fever 91-90 on Tuesday night.

Clark ignited the Fever with two of her signature deep 3-pointers early in the fourth quarter and finished with 27 points and 11 assists, making her the fastest player in WNBA history to record 350 career assists and the 4th fastest player to reach 800 career points. She also now has the most 25 point/10 assist games in WNBA history at 10 games.

Indiana Fever Home Opener vs. Chicago Sky
The Indiana Fever beat the Chicago Sky today 93-58. In Caitlin Clark's first game of the season, she records a triple double with 20 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 4 blocks, and 2 steals, making her the first player in the WNBA with that stat line in a home opener and sets the record for being the first point guard in WNBA history with four blocks in a home opener.

Indiana Fever Take On Brazil at Carver-Hawkeye Arena
The Indiana Fever traveled to Carver-Hawkeye Arena to take on the Brazilian National Team. The anticipation was high as Caitlin Clark returned to the University of Iowa where she became a superstar and legendary basketball player for the Hawkeye program. The game tipped off at 4 p.m. ET inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa.

The Indiana Fever won the preseason game handily with a final score of 108-44, which drew 1.3 million viewers on ESPN—more than every NBA preseason game except two since 2010. (Both of which featured LeBron James.)

Fever Edge Mystics in OT in Preseason Opener
The Indiana Fever started off their 2025 campaign with a preseason victory over the Washington Mystics on Saturday afternoon at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, rallying from six points down in the final minute of regulation to force overtime before ultimately prevailing in the extra session. Fever guard Caitlin Clark, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year, did not play Saturday due to a left leg injury.

Training Camp Starts
The Indiana Fever opened training camp on Sunday with a completely revamped roster. Ten new players and an entirely new coaching staff took over Salesforce court to begin preparations for the 2025 WNBA season, and the Fever are scheduled to be in action for their first preseason game as soon as Saturday, May 3.
