After a prolific rookie year, Caitlin Clark is back for year two, playing for the Indiana Fever under Head Coach Stephanie White.
Caitlin Clark has taken the WNBA by storm. After her prolific college career at the University of Iowa where she broke Pistol Pete’s NCAA Division I scoring record, Clark was first pick by the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Since then, Clark has broken numerous rookie records, franchise records and WNBA records.
Caitlin struggles to find her way back to the court due to injury this year and ultimately announces on September 4th that she is out for the season due to a persistent groin injury suffered on July 15, against the Connecticut Sun.
After battling a right groin injury for months, Caitlin announces on social media that she will be missing the rest of the season.

The Atlanta Dream edge the Indiana Fever to hand them their first loss of the regular season. Rhyne Howard made a go-ahead free throw with 9.1 seconds left, and the Atlanta Dream withstood a thrilling fourth-quarter rally led by Caitlin Clark to beat the Indiana Fever 91-90 on Tuesday night.
Clark ignited the Fever with two of her signature deep 3-pointers early in the fourth quarter and finished with 27 points and 11 assists, making her the fastest player in WNBA history to record 350 career assists and the 4th fastest player to reach 800 career points. She also now has the most 25 point/10 assist games in WNBA history at 10 games.

The anticipation was high as Caitlin Clark returned to the University of Iowa where she became a superstar and legendary basketball player for the Hawkeye program. The Indiana Fever won the preseason game handily with a final score of 108-44, which drew 1.3 million viewers on ESPN—more than every NBA preseason game except two since 2010. (Both of which featured LeBron James.)
